So much to love about Spider-man

Did you know that the legendary Stan Lee was first inspired to create Spider-man when he saw a fly on one of the walls at Marvel’s office? Yes, for our favorite friendly neighborhood Spider man we ought to thank a fly. Apparently Stan Lee first named his hero Stick-to-Wall Man, then moved on to Fly-man, Insect-man and even Mosquito-man before settling on Spider-man, and aren't we glad he stuck to his final decision? 

So much to love about Spider-man

Spidey, the wisecracking, gravity defying hero who’s always in time to save the day from the baddies, is one of the Marvel icons. But it’s not just his heroics against the villains like Doctor Octopus, The Green Goblin, Venom,  Sandman and Kraven the Hunter that we admire so much. It’s also his real life persona in Peter Parker is so likeable. He is sweet, kind and a little bit dorky, all qualities that make him relatable. He’s basically a normal guy struggling with the daily challenges of school, friends and family. When he dons his red and blue Spidey suit, he does become fearless but he also stays true to who Peter Parker is. Fans around the world have agreed that the unique thing about Spiderman is that his normal life sparks as much interest as does his superhero adventures.
